Mekkan Refugee #1
« on: June 27, 2012, 09:01:54 PM »
Allow me to introduce myself/
For I am a man in need of help/
I once was a boss of the Bosphorus/
The controller of the continents/
The expresser of the logic of/
A kingdom far and wide/
I was the scribe of my tribe/
the poet, or maybe you would know it,
as a minister of information, of sorts/
But sadly, an evil jenie, has altered my course
I fear I've hit a lull, alone in this city/
But alas, no mere mortal can control his own destiny/
So I will forever be, Infinite a.k.a. the Mekkan Refugee/

Sadness enters my loins as I think of my transformation/
It was an evil jin created by the hands of Satan/
Fueled by fire, but taking upon a human form/
Of a woman so beautiful, my heart would steadily burn/
I readied myself, gathered some wealth, asked out of turn/
To be beside her, for if I was denied her, I'd be forlorn-ed/
Now I just wish I had a portal to get out of this life I hate/
But alas, no mere mortal can trifle with the decree of fate/
So I'm just me, the Mekkan Refugee or Infinite, a.k.a./

A mekkan refugee can't ever step to me
You a hick from Kansas City, don't no weather to clown or pity
Should be eatin barbecue with your hillbilly ass
Can't hold a job, never paid attention in class
So instead of manning up and working hard
You choose to drive 5 hours to spit weak rhymes on the blvd.
That's on some Grungy lame ass shit
You are just as white and even more likely to get hit
With XXXXL shirts looking like a kid in a ghost costume
You as sweet as perfume, to Africans you a cartoon
They all laughing like hyenas when your timid ass comes through
Knowing damn well you bout to sponsor a village
Guilty your grandpappy used to rob and pillage
Your forefathers probably rolling over in their graves
To see their weak ass grandson actin like one of their slaves
Here's a fact, you ain't black an you never will be
Even simping to savages in Africa that are filthy
Feel good about yourself think you've experienced what they have
Bitch please you fly back home and you think they respect you
Trying to get attention cause your own kind neglects you
Should send child support but you always forgets to
Keep actin black and see where that gets you

A Mekkan Refugee/
Land was penetrated, we finally made it/
Up the coast of Odessa's black sea/
We settled upon new territory/
Thus I documented the full story/
and all the battle glory's/
The serene and the gory/
The ravine's/
Boulevards of broken dreams/
The piles of skulls I as the I could see/
Told the story of scrolled up and inscribed/
As I wrote every detail about every warrior died/
We heard the battle cries/
As reinforcements came from Venice/
Sent the messenger back to the Porte with/
All the news, and just when I was making love to my muse....

....that's when the spell was caste/
upon my soul and so now I have to adapt/
To this life on the other side of the Atlantic where they act/
Frantic to live in comfort and safety in a life that can never be/
Cause life where I'm from, you lived did, and died/
But here in the midwest 2012, I've..
been forced to live a different life, don't know why/
Allah has forsaken me to such an existence/
Can't remember the last smile it's been a minute/
But everyone says their happy here and got it figured out/
While shoveling fast food down their ever ready mouths/
Trying to figure out how to make it here, and be like him and him/
But I guess I'm just a Mekkan Refugee and I don't fit in

Man life is life no matter where you've been/
Go to an Islamic state, they say your beard's too thin/
And watch over you, claiming you're 2 minutes late for prayin/
In Africa you're nothing without your dollars, I'm just sayin/
Some people are just lost, no matter where they tag along/
People who aren't like most, who don't have a social swag at home/
So they think they have it great when they move alone/
Console their souls to find out where they really belong/
Just like living on the internet, same shit/
Don't fit in with the peeps you are naturally with/
So you log on and suddenly you are westcoast/
Connected, hanging with the best negroes/
But still, nothing really changes/
Some people just will never be famous/
Never be players, never be rich, never be shit/
And this truth is just making a young nigga sick/
This entire forum is trash, gets dull fast/
Just to push F5 and kill time, so far from sublime/
Loaded with small minds, ignorant and perverse/
Grotesque - it's cursed, souls put in a hearse/
Time for me to finally disperse/
The numbers don't lie, no matter the coast/
666 Karma, 187 PMs, 11111 posts/
So it's good-bye, nothing won, nothing lost//
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin
