Does his internal struggle with white guilt count as a fight?

Mekkan Refugee has witnessed numerous battles throughout his lifetime.  His job in Ottoman society was that of a poet for the warrior tribe of Jannisaries.   One of the ways to boost prestige and instill fear in the enemy was by poetry, and it also was used to boost the morale of the regimen.  Sometimes when in battle, the dust would be flying, swords clinging, and Mekkan Refugee would get caught in the thick of things and have to scrap.

The thing about Bri Bri is he's been duckin and dodgin his entire life. If he ducks his own responsibilities and can't even be honest to himself, why would he be real with a bunch of people on a message board?
