Nah, you see G-child, you are very wrong....  to you westcoast music should sound like it use to sound back in the  90's... the sound Dr. Dre created, however, he's changing the game... he's changing the sound of his music, which results in chaning the sound of westcoast music... so dre is still westcoast... he's just changing the game

MAn, Dre ain't dropped a proper track since HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!, let me see, THe Last Meal. And that's if he produced Hennesey and Buddah or was that Fred Wrecks work. Ain't nobody copying Dre's shit because a fuckin 5 year old can make his beats. THey're too simplistic now and sound like a whole lotta base with no fuckin' soul in the damn song. Just a boomp.. boom..boom, boom. So stop saying he's dope cuz' he ain't no good anymore. I've wasted too much $ buying cd's with singles he produced that are probably the worst on the album. For instance:Lookin' At You, Business, In Da Club, Symphony In X Major. He trying to create a new type of music. That takes a muthafucker with a lot of brains and patience. With the work Dre's been doing lately, I don't think he can pull off a Hip-Opera or Ghetto Rock album that sounds as creative as 2001. And if he can, why does he give all his homies shitty beats, but saves his best beats for himself. Stingy. If Quik can bring consistent, CREATIVE,INNOVATIVE(keywords)bangers, than why the fuck can't Dre do the same. Isn't he supposedly, the best rap producer in everybody's eyes? He may be the best to the whole world, but he'll never be innovative and that can end any producer's career. Whether it be Dre, Warren G or Quik. He needs to reinvent himself with a bit more soul in his shit!!!

The latest song out from dre i know of is "In the Club" and it's a banger for sure.  How anybody can say nothing he's made is any good since last meal is beyond me.  I'm the first one to say he's not as creative as before, but that doesn't mean everything he makes isn't still dope.

Stop so hard to try and label the music. The coastal shit is dissolving anyways and everyone is borrowing ideas from eachother. The sound got old so he's moved on.

The same morons saying "Dre fell the fuck off the map, he's from NYC and his mother is from Israel" is the same idiots saying this when Detox drops: "Oooh, I love Dre, Detox is classic, Dre is a genius, I wanna get it on with him, he comes off with that lovely Westcoast sound".

Haters..  ::)

Blah blah blah, yeah cool. But It ain't like that, Remember that the Westcoast doesn't begin and end with Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg. All these people talking about opening they mind to music, Bullshit, they the same people hollaring about Snoop & Dre everytime they fart or cough. Y'all always contradicting yourselves.

Can anyone tell me Why Daz, J-Flexx, Scott Storch and fuck knows who else claimed they were NOT credited for work they have done in the past?

Yeah Dre is cool, but y'all don't pay attention to other producers who are right up there with Dre like BATTLECAT for example, the dude has been out for as long as Dre has but doesn't get the attention he deserves.

PEACE.

For whoever it was who said that everyone on the west follows what Dre does, tell me one west coast artist who has made an album with beats like the ones on 2001? I'm not saying he ain't west coast, cause he certainly ain't east coast or dirty south, and you can have many different styles of production on the west coast at the same time, but I certainly don't see him as a trend setter on the west.

The success or failure of Detox will depend on what his new sound is gonna be, something with more soul and shit would be much doper that his current looped shit, and which artists he manages to get in on the project as characters.

For all who say dre ain't the same any more, just remember
dre doesn't want to be doinging the same thing he was
doing during death row cause he said when he left that
he's been there and done that and he wanted to
experiment with other things and create new sounds and
not just keep doing the same old g-funk that he created
back in the early 90's. You can't force a man to something
he doesn't want to do!

And g-child you wonder why people like Battlecat don't
get the attention they deserve, cause people like you
keep going on about dre and how he ain't west and steals
other peoples credit. Why don't you use your energy on
talking about the production of Battlecat and get people
intrested in him, instead of bitching about dre!!

Get the fuck outta here.  So do timbaland and Neptunes have the "V.A sound?" this shit is stupid.  Roger and Zapp shit aint tight no more.  you want dre to sample George All over again huh.  I cant blame Dre,  If you woulda said that Dre dont really fuck with west coast artist anymore  I would have agreed with you but to say he's not west coast any more becuase his Beats dont sound like what you think is West Coast is stupid.  To be honest I rather hear 50 Cent over Dre beat than Xzibit.  At least 50 knows how to ride the track.  Dre dont make West coast music he make universal music eventhough I dont feel all his shit , when he wants to he can still make that fire.  Ask Battlecat why the only person asking for his beats is snoop, and you herd snoops shit. That "WestCoast" sound is 90's homie get over it.
