How do ya'll feel about tha military draft

It pisses me off when they have these surveys on reinstating tha military draft,  they have these surveys on TV an they always show how more people are in favor of havin it.  One poll for instance said 76% of people were in favor of a draft,  but yet only 15% of those asked would be eligible for tha draft,  It fuckin pisses me off when you see women an people that are 30 years old,  didnt have to worry about vietnam an have 5 year old kids an they say send in more troops,  they couldnt give a fuck about those that would be drafted,  women always bitch about how they should be drafted but you dont see them bitchin now.  tha only people that have tha right to say there opinions on tha draft are veterans an those elidgible for tha draft.  Tha american public thinks that sendin in more troops will help us find bin laden faster,  yet they have no clue of whats going on over there an what our future plans involving terroism are.   Yet they insist sendin more troops will do tha job,  to me people are sayin fuck tha facts,  just humor me an send in more troops,  i dont have a clue of whats going on over there cuz im a fuckin idiot.

I'm not too concerned about a draft at the moment. If Islam calls for a Jihad (all Islamic people, not just Taliban), then we'll all get sent, but otherwise, I don't think we have to worry to much.

Actually gettin out of tha war on a technicality like that is nearly impossible,   muhammad ali got off on that though,  but he was just startin to make a name for himself in boxing so being who he was that helped a little bit but in reality it is very hard to get off on a technicality like that,  i think tha only way to get out tha draft/army is say that your gay

If y'all don't wanna be drafted, come up to Canada.  One of my Dad's friends is a Draft Dodger from California.  He was drafted for Vietnam, so he came up here.

I dont wanna get drafted but if i do i aint goin run from it b/c that feelin of being a pussy would be wit me forever.  To be honest i have no plans for my future except be a garbage man,  i dont know if you can call that plans for tha future,  imma go to college b/c maybe id be lucky enough to be what i really wanna do when i get older,  but that will never happen,  damn I hate bein so cynical.  tha only reason i think i dont wanna get drafted is b/c i dont wanna end up dying an never gettin laid

Here's My Thoughts:

I Ain't About Killing Them Personally, I Couldn't Do It.  The People Fighting Us, While It's Gotta Be Done, I Couldn't Kill Myself Because They've Got A family Just LIke I Do.  

They Won't Reinstate THe Draft.  That's B.S.  The Taliban Had 50,000 Troops 4 Weeks Ago, Now They Have2,000.  come On Now.  What Is There To Reinstate The Draft Over? There's Nothing Left Over There.  They'll Have Bin Ladin's Body In THe Ground Before The Weeks Over.  If You Read Up ON It, We're VERY Close.  All Of The Al-Queada And Taliban Officials Are FAlling All Over Themselves To Tell Us Where He is.  The Entire Taliban Disbanded, Practially, After We Killed A Few Of Them, And Started Bombing Their Front Lines.  I Guess They Didn't Really Mean It When They Said They'd Fight To The End.

If You Dont' Wanna Get Drafted, When It Becomes Apparent That You WILL Be Drafted, Go Join The National Guard.  You Get To Stay At Home And Protect America, And There Won't Be Any Danger Here.  Or, You Could Join The Navy.  Afganistan Has No Ships, Therefore, If Your'e On A BOAT, You're Perfectly Safe.  OR! You Could Join The Air Force.  Again, You'd Be On A Boat The Whole Time.  Nothing To Get Worried About.

Trauma is right. There are several ways you can avoid being put on the front lines in a draft. Rather than dodge, pick the National Guard, Coast Guard, Navy, or Air Force. You have to serve an extra year if you sign up, (3 if you sign, 2 if you are drafted) but in the long run, you will be in better shape job, and pay wise if you join. I just don't see the draft happening again. And for those of you still worried, check out the selective service homepage. They have all the details there on what would happen if the draft was reinstated. It shows you how you can get out of it, and also explains the lotto for birthdates, and tells which age groups go first ect. It is alot different now than what it was in the vietnam era. So if you have people telling you "if you are married, in college, have kids ect... you don't have to go", they are wrong. There is alot of people that are misinformed about the draft in this day and age. Basically, if you are not disabled, and under the age of 26, you will be drafted. So if they talk about reinstating it, do what Trauma says, and pick the branch you want before you get stuck. Peace.
