IMO they dropped the ball releasing this in the UK 24 December. Why the fuck would anyone buy this CD over the Xmas period?

Isn't a new T.I. CD what every little boy and girl wants for Christmas?

Yeah but I dunno man, so many people are done shopping by then. After that (in the UK) people are pretty focussed on buying big screen TVs and shit in the sales. Can't see it as a 'prime' time to drop an album.

I was joking man, of course the release date is odd. But in this day and age where albums don't sell at all, regardless of when they drop, I don't think CD sales'll be affected that much. Plus it's T.I., I'm sure he'll be able to move a decent amount of units.

T.I. is projected to sell 150K first week

Chief Keef is projected to sell 50K first week

good looks for Tip, that reality show really helped more than anything since he doesn't really have that chart topping single out at the moment

Yea first week sales between 150-175K, it could even be higher. Not the numbers he's used too but pretty solid, here's how some other heavyweights performed this year in the first week:

Kendrick Lamar: 242K
Rick Ross: 218K
GOOD Music: 205K
Meek Mill: 165K
Nas: 150K
2 Chainz: 147K
Wiz Khalifa: 130K
Maybach Music: 98K
Game: 85K
B.o.B: 74K

If T.I. can come in above Meek Mill, he'll have the 4th best debut album year

it's only the day after the album dropped.

I know, but these projections are usually pretty accurate. If he's not between the 150 - 175 K guesstimate, chances are the highest he'd sell is like 185 - 190

Game was projected to sell 75-80K and ended up doing 85K so yeah these projections are usually dead on accurate

I think he'll do 170 - 180 K and be the 4th best Rap debut of the year (unless you count Nicki Minaj as rap LOL, she did 253K first week). That's pretty good!

Definitely a return to form for Tip, I'll cop it whenever I see it in store. He'll push Gold so no problems. Hopefully Keef gets dropped, son has dope beats / harmonies in his shit but his lyrics make me feel autistic
