They are both classics...

How do you choose?

The R&B tracks on Above the Rim are better than the R&B tracks on MWTC,

But the Hardcore tracks on MWTC are just a cunt hair better than on ATR...

I choose Above the Rim (Cassette Version). Overall its a better album, the Hardcore stuff on MWTC is better, but the R&B lags. So the overall Above the Rim album is better IMO. Im basing this off the idea I could only listen to 1 for the rest of my years.

murder was the case UNLESS you count Pain and Loyal to the Game on the cassette of Above the Rim.  then they are both even.

Those 2 songs... Man I use to play them over and over... Wonder why they never did a digital deluxe version with those last tracks on it?

DR and WA and them dropped the ball bigtime in so many ways. I will rip both the Above the Rim album, and the Regulate Cd single bonus tracks and make a full deluxe 320 version tagged proper if anyone is interested

Murder Was The Case by a long, long way.  It's chock full of classics from a whole variety of DR artists, whereas Above The Rim has too many R n' B cuts for my liking.

Plus MWTC has Daz' best beat that he's ever done in '21 Jumpstreet'  8)

I just want some new self produced music from Daz. Give a fuck about a production credit from 20 years ago. What got printed in the booklet is what it is
