Most slept on song in the past 5 years
« on: April 01, 2013, 03:35:53 PM »
This track was complete fire, from the beat to the flows.  Even J coles ass came tight.

To me this song was generational. Could be my favorite Lupe song. As real as it gets.

The Roots - Make My. an epic musical masterpiece too advanced for the average pebble sized brain listener of hip hop of today.

Song sucks.  Their first album Train Of Thought was classic.  Talib fell the fuck off after that.  People still mention him though just cause they want to sound "conscious"

Just because the album was poor overall, doesn't mean that there weren't any dope tracks on it. I was a s disappointed as you with the final product but there were still some strong cuts on there.

what happened to being positive?
and is cursing really necessary?

lol...  are those some kind of bible school camp standards your placing on me?  I have no idea what the fuck your talking about.

Who determines what words are "curse" words anyway?  That's really a subjective thing.   I will use whatever words are at my disposal, the important thing to me is being able to express ones self as effectively as possible.

A couple of under-rated tracks from the last 5 years

it was a subjective observation I made on your negative remarks on the song and your judgemental attitude towards people that mention him to sound "conscious".
the f word is nothing more than a simpletons curse word so if your goal is to express yourself and be viewed according to that standard then go ahead.

peace my brother.

no.. what it was was a weak ass attempt at trying to turn my "good vibes" against me.

but no worries... the comment I made was just voicing my frustration and disappointment at the second Hi-Tek and Kweli album.  I expected a lot because I was a big fan of their first offering
