Smackdown tonite
« on: November 01, 2001, 12:13:48 PM »
Smackdown should be a fun show tonight.  Tonight's show features:

Undertaker VS Steve Austin (WWF World Title)
Booker T/Test VS Rock/Jericho (WWF Tag Titles)
Christian VS Bradshaw (WWF European Title)
Tajiri VS William Regal
Edge VS Rob Van Dam (Hardcore Title)
Dudleys & Stacy VS Hardys & Lita
Kane VS Kurt Angle (WCW US Heavyweight Title)

-And yes , WWFE needs to do something with this belt situation.  I would assume that after Alliance or WWF loses the match at Survivor Series, the other company's belts will be retired.

we have seen tha Hardys an Dudley wrestle a million times,  We have seen tha Undertaker an Austin wrestle Millions of time an tha undertaker sux now,  Edge Vs Van Dam should be good but there is no angle involved in it but knowin tha WWF it will be a short match.  It seems like Booker T/Test wrestler Y2J/Rock every week now.  Bradshaw an Christian will be boring.  Tha only match that looks interestin Tajiri Vs.  Regal,  besides that it is same ol shit.

Well Im glad that Tom187 was dead wrong about Smackdown being the "same old shit".  Smackdown was really great tonite.  Kane VS Angle was actually a GREAT match and easily the best of Kane's career.  Other great matches were the Test/Booker T VS Jericho/Rock and the Hardys/Lita VS Dudleys/Stacy.  And the WWF gave the UT/Austin match 15 minutes and turned into a great match dispite the obvious interference.  I hope the WWF keeps this kind of product up.  Lots of good wrestling and in-ring work which I am a huge fan of.

OH well..

I thought Test/Booker T VS Jericho/Rock and Hardys/Lita VS Dudleys/Stacy are as good as anything that's been on TV in the past 3 years.  I also found it refreshing to see the matches given so much time.

tha problem wit tha hardys an dudleys is that we seen them wrestle so may different matches wit so many different gimmick matches,  they cant do anything else new,  there ran outta of ideas,  also fuck tha wwf for tha crock givin y2j 2 rock bottoms,  wow tha wwf is already tryin to kill jerichos credibility in this fued

Awesome point.  Jericho did indeed lose all credibility after he cleanly pinned Rock for the WCW World title.

Another thing is--Expect a HUGE change in storylines and approach after Survivor Series.  If things are still stale in your eyes after Survivor Series-fine.  But sit tight until then because dont expect anything big until after the PPV.  WCW or WWF are going to be  "Gone"--so needless to say, that should cause quite a shake up.  Plus with Eddy Guerrero, HHH, Chris Benoit, Scott Steiner, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash all rumored to be coming in the next couple of months things should really be shaken up.
