I think this confirms that Dre only mixed "Problems" for Sunshine Anderson.

On Billboard.com, the credits for the song are:

Problems:  Morgan, V./City, Mike/Anderson, Sunshine

and from Ballerstatus.com...

BallerStatus.com: Who else is on the album?

Sunshine Anderson: Mike City, Raphael Saadiq is on the album. We got a nice mix by Dr. Dre. We have some new producers on the album. Matt Maadix produced "Sunshine At Midnight." We got some great writing on this album.

Jome, it's your call homie.
I could be wrong but.....
Music artists rarely say shit correctly, I've never in my life (though maybe hip hop's mad different in the 5 years I was gone) heard someone brag about getting their song mixed by a dope producer. She probably meant he produced it. furthermore, a producer didn't necessarily have a hand in writing a song, especially in more conventional songs(ie: not rap songs, where the producer is expected to make the music.) like this r and b one. chances are the chords and melody and lyrics were already written and dre just had to program drums and re-instrumentate additional to coaching the vocals. all of which involves no writing. i could be wrong though, just a thought.

WTF!? I thought Daz Produced "Just Doggin"  ???

Me too, for all these years... I personally doubt it was Dre, that beat just Screams Daz, particularly with those drums

A good portion of early Dre beats were co-produced by Daz (with no credit)...

Daz got his style from Dre, I don't think the other way around. Just ask snoopy.. ah, i love it, we've been having this argument since 99....

yeah, no denying that. but it was in a beatmaker role, not a production role. and they were learning both from dre.

like how there are some songs that mike elizondo has co writer credits but not co production credits?  because elizondo may have come up with that bass/guitar riff but dre produced it. did you read that snoop interview where he goes off defending dre and shit? it's classic.

I get what you're sayin Tanj, thing is I'm pretty sure if Dre did anything more than mix the record, like if he co-produced, he would've been listed as a writer. If one has followed actual booklet credits for Dre's work in recent years, his name is only listed when he's the main producer. Mixing and even additional contributions sometimes don't get the publishing rights to a song.

Yeah, that joint is credited to only Game and Havoc. Dre handled additional production and mixing.

kinda what i was getting at, you could produce and mix without writing anything. not saying he defo produced that sunshine anderson joint...but I think, personally, that he did.

True, I look at it like this though. There's 3 different levels of being credited. "Produced by", "Co-Produced by" and "Additional Production". I would assume only the first 2 count as being official 'Dre beats', while the third level is just a song he tweaked and\or polished up.

makes sense, I ain't picky. if dre did more than mix, I'm a have to secure it

March 13th:
Young Buck
feat. 50 Cent - Hold On
feat. Chester Bennington of Linkin Park - Slow Ya Roll
feat. LeToya Williams - U Ain't Goin' Nowhere

Slow Ya Roll is such a hot song!  8) Dre killed the production and Buck performed well.  All the dre beats on Bucks album are really good, lovin them!

Sunshine Anderson Returns With New Album

R&B vocalist Sunshine Anderson will release her sophomore disc, "Sunshine
at Midnight," in January via her label, Shining Star Incorporated, and
Matthew Knowles' Music World company. Dr. Dre and Raphael Saadiq are among
the album's producers.
A video for lead single "Something I Wanna Give You" will be shot next
month in Los Angeles by director Gil Green and a second single is expected
in November.
Anderson, who joined Knowles' label in August 2004, says the new offering
is intentionally devoid of guest features. "It's been a long time so we
just want everyone to focus on Sunshine again," the Charlotte, N.C.,
native tells Billboard.com. "My vocals are raw and honest and pure, with a
lot of emotion. So vocally not much has changed, but I've grown as a
businesswoman. I'm more involved in this project and I was a little more
inspired this time."
Album cuts include "Force of Nature" and "My Problems," which was produced
by Dr. Dre.
"That song is just about everyday life -- a young lady who
lost her job, her boyfriend's been locked up, she's got two kids but the
rent is still due," says Anderson. "She's talking about how bad she feels
and she wishes she could just smoke and drink her problems away."
Another track, the Saadiq-helmed "Wear the Crown," is more personal to
Anderson. "It's about this girl who's kind of overwhelmed when this guy
walks into the Waffle House one day," she laughs. "She's just like, 'You
make me feel like that I can wear the crown, that I'm the new queen in
town.'"
"Sunshine at Midnight" will be the follow-up to Anderson's 2001
Soulife/Atlantic debut "Your Woman," which bowed at No. 5 on The Billboard
200 and has sold 487,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen
SoundScan. It spawned the single "Heard It All Before," which peaked at
No. 3 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
