How come Busta Rhymes never put together a classic album?
« on: September 16, 2013, 08:41:40 AM »
he's been around for almost 25 years, hung around the best of the best of em and yet all his projects have tons of filler on them

i think in the late 90's when he dropping hits like Gimmie Some Mo and Dangerous that he could have easily dropped a 5 star album if he tried harder  :eh:

Depends who you ask about it. Its not for one person to call a classic, but genesis and big bang are very solid. Tho you have a point, Busta havent made any album a masterpiece. Too many filler as you said, and even good tracks or the taotally dope ones were still missing something for me.

The Leaders of the New School albums were the closest to him having a classic album.

'The Big Bang' is an all-round great album.  I don't consider there to be any real filler tracks on there, but do I think of it as a classic?  Probably not.
