Puff gets shit for things that Eazy gets a pass on.

Not from me. Eazy was so weak. Snoop too.

They're the OG versions of Game, letting production carry them the entire way through & just know the right way to ride it...well read someone else's lyrics on how to ride it.

it's called personality, mic presence, flow, delivery, voice control, passion, charm etc......personally, i could never sit through an entire joe budden album, because i much rather hear some simple shit with personality and meaning than some great lyrics with monotone ass flows...if i want great lyrics, ill watch rap battles on youtube....i want shit that slaps, sounds good, rappers who mean what they say, who can rock a mic wit their energy, not just big words that sounds like it's being read off a paper....and that is why eazy-e >>>>>>>>>> joe budden

Real Compton City G'z.

B.G. Knoccout and Dre'sta wrote that whole song if I'm not mistaken

You might be right. But he is credited with writing credits for that song and It's On on that EP. Those were the only songs he was credited with. Not sure if he wrote all of his lyrics, or just put input to them. But he did get some credit for those songs. Also Boyz n tha Hood (G-Mix) but we all know Cube wrote that. So take Eazy's writing credit with a grain of salt.

he actually wrote a lot of songs on "straight off the streetz"

Gotta agree with this. I mean, call a rapper out for getting help all you want, but at the end of the day there's a lot more than just lyrics. I'd much rather listen to an average/slightly below lyricist like Game than some some lyrical guy that lacks mic-presence and all that.

Neither, really. But, from what Cube had to say, obviously Eazy struggled in the booth. Not sure if his whole career was like that, but at least up front. I've never heard a story about Puff like that.

eazy-e is way better as a rapper, u jokin? maybe he struggled with technicalities in the early years, but his presence, flow, charisma shits on anything puffy ever had to offer. it's not even close, really.

To me, Eazy's personality and voice made him an enjoyable Rapper to listen to. I don't think any of that is really a talent.

Pretty much.

You pretty much just summed up 95% of what the mainstream is.

Yet you both hate on every popular act on the industry. ::)

knowin how to use your voice and personality on the mic is indeed a talent....for instance, his kids got the same voice. look at the difference.

Absolutely not. The top dollar production & flow along with making it catchy for extra appeal is what the mainstream is all about.

Lyrically they suck...just like Eazy...but Eazy had some classic West Coast production & is considered a legend...so he gets a pass. Meek Mill is more lyrical than Eazy-E; it's just not "cool" to hate on Eazy.

I think it was Dre and Cube that really showed Eazy how to use his voice. His personality just came out. The difference I see with his Kids is that they're not working with top notch legends like Dre and Cube.
