MOBNigga06's remark about dogg food being a night time album was interesting (although i don't necessarily agree), as there are albums we subjectively perceive as night time albums and day time albums. E-40's concept behind Revenue Retrievin' Day Shift and Night Shift was that each album was music made to grind at night or during daytime. what are your own day time / night time albums ?

Off the bat, i'd say GKMC is an album I almost exclusively play at night, same for Underground Kingz, so many tunes that fit the nighttime atmosphere (the game belongs to me, swishas and dojas, gravy, cocaine, still ridin dirty).

come to think of it, feels like bay shit is more for the day and socal shit is more night-time shit, but it can go both ways.
