After a couple of listens I'm liking the album and it seems to get better the more I listen to it. Disappointed with no Dre production and the Kendrick Lamar collab, that had the potential to be epic.

Good to see Ken Keniff is back  ;D

Had a couple days to listen to this album now, and gotta say its a dope album.  Em still got it.  I almost thought I was listening to SSLP when I heard "So Far"...the flows and raps on this album are classic Eminem.

On the real, this drops the same day as COD: Ghosts doesn't it? I keep seeing the COD trailer on TV with the Em song

Should we even be saying this is a studio album, or is it purely a marketing gimmick? :D

Baby is a Dre beat.

According to the wiki Em produced it

And I only believe that because even Dre don't produce beats that weak these days

everything rick rubin does when he first works with an established artist is usually almost always very polarizing to that artists core fan base...thats the point. hes trying to expand the genres blah blah blah creativity blah blah eclectic blah blah longevity blah blah minimalism.

I hoped it was goin to be a hip-hop album. I know music is business, but ironically rappers are going more commercial when they arleady dont have to worry about the money for the rest of their lives.

Im dissapointed by that album, technically it is probably very solid, Em got monster crew behind boards, himself keeping it up, but that wont make me go back to it. Maybe i'll get back to berzerk some time, and 'rap god' is pretty good.

Hip-hop must stay on the street, and that album is made for teenage girls. He could at least didnt name it that way.
