Do you actually consider yourself a real hip-hop head, like for real, Infinite?

i actually like Juicy J and three 6 mafia, Juicy J has blown up and is every where like lil wayne or drake, and yeah he's really rapping about NOTHING....but it's enjoyable . always has been, always will be. I wouldn't discredit someone as a "hip hop head" because they like juicy J/three 6.

music, i have learned, is like a good meal. three corses and a desert.

you can't eat nothing but chicken breast and broccoli all the time (unless you're body building ; but that's a different thread i want to post about later ;) )

but in the same sense , you can't eat birthday cake all the time either.

I consider Juicy J that good piece of home made birthday cake after a good meal.  not to be confused with the rest of that garbage ass foodmaxx sheet cake rappers  that's on the radio right now.

Gotta love when people try to prove how Hip Hop they are by bashing another group/artist.

well it depends

if all you listen to is 2chainz and all that .....i really don't respect that person's opinion on music....alll they're eating is birthday cake over and over again...that's like taking fitness advice from a fat ass.

but if you listen to 2chainz but also have pallet for higher quality rappers and even listen to other respectible genres of music....then i really can't hate on you.

like i said earlier, you have to take everything in balance.

Music is food for the soul.

That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm not talking about what you listen to. I'm saying when you have that guy who wants to prove he's real by bashing another artist.

i understood your point.

i still think it depends.

that is lame if you go around bashing people to "proove" how much of a "hip hop head" you are....and i'm talking from a seeking-out, malicious way...that's some pencil dick shit right there

but i mean if you're going to diss somebody i still think that depends. if someone rattles off that THEE top 5 rappers are radio rappers 1-5.....and that's all you listen to is radio rap....then your opinion is really uneducated and you deserve whatever diss comes at you.

however if you're a well rounded person with a bunch of different tastes and you say you like radio rappers 3 and 5 , i think your opinion becomes a little more interesting and valid.

I'll agree to an extent. My brother in law graduated from High School in June. In his Yearbook they listed the top 10 artists and A.S.A.P. Rocky was number 1. I told him that they have a huge lack of taste.

But then it occurred to me. While I may think Ice Cube is one if the best ever, I don't know how many kids in High School would agree. Taste is subjective. This site is proof. Guys who swear by Daz will talk down on a guy like Juicy J. It boils down to preferences.

Hack Wilson - real

brian, you may be a "hip hop specialist" so to speak, when it comes to a small group of rappers  (it seems that 2pac and eminem are your favorites?)

but the way you write off 3 6 Mafia and Brotha Lynch Hung without even knowing their music or what city they rep is proof that you are far too ignorant to consider yourself a true hip hop head.  and i'm just sticking to those 2 as examples.

I know Juicy J is a sellout ass loser now but he's responsible for some of the dopest music ever.

and despite your friend Sccit telling you forever that Brotha Lynch was dope as hell you said you didn't want to listen to him because he was a "Bay area artist" (Which he is not).

3-6 Mafia as a whole (really just DJ Paul and Juice) left their whole Underground Rowdy Street personas behind close to 10 years ago. They had a reality show! I wouldn't even say Juice is a sellout, this is the direction the group went in.
