http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/news/id.26574/title.freddie-gibbs-says-he-is-better-rapper-than-young-jeezy

Exclusive: The Gary, Indiana-native also discusses his upcoming Madlib collaboration, "Cocaine Pinata" and reveals plans to release sequel to "ESGN."

Freddie Gibbs spoke about his fallout with Young Jeezy yesterday (December 9). In an exclusive conversation with HipHopDX during the release party for E-40’s Block Brochure: Welcome To The Soil 4, 5 & 6, Gibbs said that part of the reason why their business relationship soured was because the CTE frontman is less talented than him.

“Jeezy, he can’t rap better than me,” Gibbs explained, before comparing Young Jeezy to a washed-up professional basketball player:

“That’s why the nigga was afraid. He wasn’t ready to be in boss mode. He still wanted to be in rapper mode. He’s like a nigga in the NBA that’s about to retire and [is] on his last leg, while a young nigga like me is just killing niggas. I’m like Paul George on these niggas right now. He’s on his last leg so I’ma go ahead and kick the nigga in the grave while he’s standing on the edge.”

Gibb’s comment comes one day after he took to Twitter and hinted towards plans to release a diss track aimed at the Atlanta, Georgia-based rapper.

He's actually right tho lol.  I wouldn't say Jeezy is on his last leg but Gucci DEFINITELY stole his thunder.

And it's kinda funny.  Becuz when u talk to Jeezy fans they HATE Gucci.  And when u talk to Gucci fans they all agree Jeezy fell off.  And guess who's winning...

Jeezy might've gotten props from Barack, and that's some GOAT-shit but in tha Rap World (or dare I even say The Music World); Roderick won!

The funny thing is that Gibbs is just sensitive that things didn't go his way under Jeezy. Jeezy put out a Mixtape & EP for this guy. He even put him on his album. Gibbs never took off. Not Jeezy's fault. It's a classic case of a disgruntled employee.

As far as whether Jeezy has fell off or not, his career is still moving. Gucci on the other hand is spiraling out of control.

WHO THA FUCK IS YOU! ! !

I doubt that Gibbs is sensitive, it's more like he's trying to retain his standing and capitalize even bigger off of his "relations" with Jeezy.

He should've went at somebody elses head tho.  Jeezy's been ran thru, there isn't much left of him.  Gucci & Ross ate all tha meat, there isn't much left on tha bone!

Gibbs woulda been better off going at ScHoolBoy Q or Tech N9ne or somebody.

Of course he's sensitive. He wasn't saying all these negative things about Jeezy when he was signed to him. He left Jeezy and the negative shit started flying.

As far as who he should've gone at. Gibbs going at Q or Tech does what? Nothing. But, he disses a big name like Jeezy and people start talking. He's not dissing for competition, he's dissing for attention. It worked.

The Ross beef with Jeezy isn't all that talked about and went under the radar mostly. Obviously, his beef with Gucci was more publicized. But, Gucci's mental state has tipped the scales in Jeezy's favor. Not to mention that most of Atlanta will be riding with Jeezy if it ever boils up again.

he released Cold Day In Hell when he was down with CTE but BFK was allegedly all funded/promoted by Gibbs and LRG Clothing with no backing from Jeezy at all, I think at that point he had already severed ties with them but it was never publicly announced when the tape dropped

even when Gibbs went on the Breakfast Club last year and Charlamagne was instigating him questioning where his CTE chain was at, telling him CTE never puts out artists, etc. Gibbs kept it cool and didn't even mention that he left them yet

Jeezy did help him out to an extent but at the end of the day should have done more

What world are you living in?  Why would he even say anything negative about the person who signed him; why would ANYBODY do that?  How many people have u seen in your personal life or in "Hollywood" bite tha hand that feeds em?

I'm saying I know what he's doing by going at Jeezy, I think it's pretty clear... u already said it.  I'm saying he would've been better off going at somebody else of his caliber (His Competition).

And who actually talks about Gucci's mental-state, never even heard anybody mention it (online or in life).... matter of fact... what IS Gucci's mental-state?  As far as we all know he's "normal", whatever that is.  If anything he's probably a little Depressed from having to kill somebody.  That's not insanity, that's stress that u can get over.

And HA!, most of ATL ride with Jeezy?  U high as shit

@BloodMoney: what more could Jeez have done? You help a virtual unknown put out a project. You co-sign him. You put him on your record. He's not the only one signed to CTE. Jeez did more than enough. Gibbs just never got popular enough for any major to do anything with him.

@Radiotube: how long does it take to figure out someone is fake? Gibbs was on CTE for at least 2 years. How can it take you 2 years to figure out if your boss is fake? My issue isn't about not biting the hand that feeds you, it's about being real. Gibbs is just bitter, but he's trying to look like a real street street dude street dude and street dude and ride on a fake.

As for Gucci. If you've not heard of Gucci's twitter rant then I suggest you read up. Dude's mentally unstable. He's beefing with T.I., Waka and Jeezy, how many allies does he have left in the A?
