nice that 'lucky charm' track is familiar it must be on one of the future of funk mixes. nice sounds going down, it kinda gives me some early chromeo vibes mixed with dam funk. maybe a bit heavy on the synths for relaxed listening.

that 'girl' joint is on another level to the other vanilla tracks though, really crisp and clear.

it's good shit, very nice sound but it's pretty much all soulful hip hop beats. i like it a lot, nice thick bass, but it doesn't do it for me like the more 80s influenced tracks posted here. shame they're the exception, a whole tape of beats like 'girl' and 'midnight' would be fire.

loving dudes album, that 'jacuzzi' track is a banger, super phat drums & big funk. dude uses a lot of talkbox and has a unique sound, friend of mine found it.
