I just think it's amusing how they have to revaluate everything now that he is "supposedly" gay.  It's music.  You listened to it.  It's not like you used to shower with the mother fucker in gym class and your asses accidentally touched.

every1 has their own opinion, theres nothing "amusing" about it.. some may think it's amusing that you see no difference in love songs about gay sex and love songs about love between a man and a woman. at the end of the day, we're all individuals, so quit it with the holier than thou attitude, brobro

In my opinion, there is.

some may think it's amusing that you see no difference in love songs about gay sex and love songs about love between a man and a woman
Nobody is talking about love songs about gay sex. I'm talking about listening to songs by an artist and enjoying them and then all a sudden changing your tune because said artist is either gay or rumored to be. If you were listening to that shit before he came out the closet and suddenly, it's not comfortable for you anymore, than it sure as fuck isn't me who can't see the difference.  If the content of the music is so obviously gay, why has it just now become an issue?

at the end of the day, we're all individuals, so quit it with the holier than thou attitude, brobro
It's not an holier than thou attitude.  You seem to be the one taking it the most personally despite the fact that nobody directly mentioned you.  Nobody was specifically calling you out on anything but you keep responding like I've touched a nerve with you. All I'm saying is you guys know the man's work so you are obviously fans but now that there's a possibility he might be gay, you seem to be taking it as a hit against your masculinity or something. Cool out, man.  It ain't that deep.

you're the one rambling, talkin bout hittin nerves, my dude...if you dont see how a song about "slip n slide, i wanna take a ride" is different coming from a gay dude than from a straight dude, then i find that strange.

if ur gay, please dont take offense. if i found out he fucked nothing but horses, i'd still feel the same.

I can certainly see how it would be interpreted differently and how people might even find humor in shit like that but that wasn't really the conversation I was on. Finding a different context for songs after finding out some personal shit about the artist is always good for a chuckle or two but you're still missing the point.

It's not even really specifically the gay thing that has me amused as it is how people respond to their favorite artists or ones they listen to regularly doing questionable shit. I've brought this up in relation to a few varying topics because it's funny how it's less about the crime and more about the music when it comes time to vilify the artist. Whether it's snitching, beating up their wife or significant other, engaging in homosexual behavior, or whatever it may be, every now and again, you see people taking these half-hearted stances because they want to act like the shit bugs them enough to boycott the music but they can't do it. They want to make their musical tastes blend with their agendas. You ever hear anyone accuse one of their favorite artists of being in the Illuminati? Probably not. It's only the music they think sucks and only rappers they hate are homosexuals or snitches or pedophiles.

I got to a similar argument with people who now try to claim Kanye West is "untalented" because he says some outspoken shit. It's this thing that people are on where they have to like someone's ideals to enjoy their music. And I'm saying you don't have to.

Well now that some of you have seen the video.

I can tell you that the leadsinger in that video was charged with conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a one-year-old girl, and with possession of and/or distribution of indecent images of children and "extreme animal pornography." He further pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault involving children and six involving taking, making or possessing indecent images of children and one of possessing an extreme pornographic image involving a sex act on an animal. Watkins' victims included a baby boy, and he sent an SMS text message to the mother (a groupie) of one, saying: "If you belong to me, so does your baby."

Will you tell me that you can look at the video and still enjoy his music, no matter what an artist has done in the past.
Him singing about hypocrites and morals. When he is the biggest hypocrite with no morals at all.

yeah.. I remember that shit.  Suge is funny as hell.

...I disagree with the way he handled the Dre situation though, and Dre has certainly had the last laugh in all this.
