Ok, Stretch was killed on November 30, 1995 but, like "I Wonda Why They Call U Bytch", 2Pac wrote and first recorded "Holla At Me" before Death Row Records. The tracks leaked. So, no, 2Pac didn't wrote "Holla At Me" and the diss verse after Stretch died... Although he re-recorded the song for All Eyez On Me, with Nanci Fletcher. And, of course, the crazy thang was exactly one year after 2Pac got shot @ Quad Studios, Stretch is killed and then, a few days after, 2Pac recorded this verse @ Can-Am Studios.

How do you know that Pac recorded "Holla At Me" before he was on Death Row? In the song, he talks about being set up and going to jail, so the song could not have been recorded until Pac's rape trial. When did Pac record music between jail and Death Row?

What was the name of one of the only singles that Stretch (i.e, Live Squad) released? HEARTLESS, in 1992. Obviously Pac is talking to many people on this song, but "Heartless on your hits" brings Stretch into the general picture of people who betrayed him, shot him, dissed him then called for peace, etc.

fact:  Stretch produced multiple songs with Big Syke on them but never rapped alongside Syke on a song


another fact:  Stretch was hanging with Nas the night he died.  He dropped Nas off and then his own brother Majesty off and was gunned down after.


last fact:  the Live Squad and their crew got into a HUGE brawl with the Double XX posse at NY's famous Wetlands back in 1993.  Pharcyde was there that night too.  No idea if Pac was there but i'd almost be surprised if he wasn't.
