Yo...I have an essay due on Friday for my History class...I have to write about the similarities between Mussolini and Hitler...Anyone have some good info on this or can help me out at all? Thanks...PeACe

Well, they were both extremely right wing fascists,

they were both authorotarian leaders, they both tried to appeal to strong nationalistic sentiments

They both had dreams of returning their nations to past glory (Mussolini tried to create a new Roman empire, Hitler made constant references to the 1st Reich and Bismarks regime)

They both oppressed their citizens, invaded other countries , they both developed personal militias (brow shirts, SS, SA), They both had huge personality cults amongst their citizens

Though it's too late, thought I'd pop in.

7even, yes, Mussolini started as Hitler's idol, ended as Hitler's tool.

The main DIFFERENCE between them was that Mussolini wasn't racist.
