I think the Pooh hate for this album is unjust...Snoop just experimented with different flows for this album it wasn't Poohs mixing that was the problem IMO

Also don't have any problem with some of the dope beats here, snoop just fucked up his delivery on a few songs...

It's funny because death row/suge would clear for warren g to feature on a death row release, but when it came time to release warren g album he couldn't clear for snoop to be on "this dj" because snoop was originally on that.  And there has to be some other involvement from the Dogg pound that wasn't clear.  Tha Dogg pound was also on warrens second album death row hated on that too, because nate dogg was already on it and they didn't want death row artist all on a release for artist not on death row.... So warren g, never could have produced for snoop while he was on death row, suge wasn't fucking with him or def jam...

That album had more than just Snoop's music career on the line...

that album had everything on the line, the whole West Coast, Death Row, the 90's golden age of rap.... it was like if Michael Jordan had failed and the Bulls lost to the Sonics in 96

...I mean, Snoop had never disapointed up until then, Chronic, Doggystyle, Murder Was The Case...

There is, I believe, a Battlecat-produced remix of 'The Vapors' which features Charlie Wilson.  This is why his name is mistakenly listed in the booklet of the album, but of course he doesn't in fact appear on the track.  The remix remains unreleased, and as far as I'm aware, there is not even a snippet of it available.
It's also strange how Jodeci aren't credited as being on 'Sixx Minutes', when it's clearly them (or one of them) at the end of the song.

I think the live version of the vapors remix was released on one of the singles (either the vapors or snoops upside ya head).

I wonder how the producers (i think it was Arkim and flair) of sixx minutes got involved with the album and where are they now.

Would love to hear it in a studio version..
And yeah always wondered what happened to Arkim & Flair, do they got any other production credits ?

"6 Minutes" might've been the worst song on the album

"6 Minutes" might've been the worst song on the album

The beat was tight (although there was a lil thing missin in it), but snoop was just lazy as fuck on that song.
If he wouldve really flowed on that song it wouldve been tight as hell.
