Which is why the Lakers make the playoffs. As for Cleveland, I need more evidence that bench holds and the Cavs are injury free. The Cavs are one knee injury away from us asking how a team can win the lotto 4 out of 5 times.

You can check with most Laker fans here, I have been the most pro-LeBron person here. But let's not get carried away. The Cavs are a young team with a lot of unproven starters, only LeBron and Varejo have been to the playoffs or played for a team with a winning record, and the bench had lots of holes. This team has a long way to before we start saying it's a championship team, let's see Love, Irving and Waiters in the playoffs first.

If we're talking about a team of Irving/Wiggins/Bennett/Waiters/Thompson, I understand your skepticism. If we're even talking Irving/Love/Waiters/Thompson. But, we're talking about LeBron/Irving/Love. LeBron has won 50 games with Drew Gooden and Eric Snow as his starters. This was before LeBron had even developed. How are you going to tell me that LeBron with Irving and Love might now even make the playoffs? Again, I ask, do you watch basketball? The East is going to have another down year. Stephenson is gone and PG is out in Indy, where does the intensity come from? The scoring? The defense? The pseudo leadership? Nobody knows what the Knicks will do. They won't be much worse, but will they be better? Eh. Brooklyn? Without Pierce. KG another year older. Joe Johnson still getting those checks. Lopez coming off an injury. Williams maybe in shape. New Coach. Probably will good, but championship caliber? Na. Miami replacing LeBron with Deng? That shaves off 10 games. Wade being a huge question mark with his health. He'll more than likely miss every 2nd night of a back to back and will sit intermittently throughout the season. Bosh will be your number 1 option. That's about a 45 win team. Who else is there? Washington is on the outside looking in this season. That leaves only Chicago. LeBron with Mo Williams and Delonte West by his side beat Chicago. LeBron with a deadly shooter like Love and a guard that actually make Rose work on Defense in Irving will have a great chance at beating Chicago this year. Can you really not see that?

Injuries can happen. If that's how you're judging a team, then don't watch sports man. Injuries are always possible.

I will say this, I am not doubting LeBron. LeBron is proven, but I am not going to call the Cavs the favorite to do shit until I see some proof Love and Irving can play basketball on a team with a winning record for the first time in either's career. And the Cavs had LeBron for 7 years and never won a title with him, what makes this year different? No knock on LeBron, but I don't have faith in the Cavs front office.

mdoggy's right on this one.....cavs have a lot to prove before we favor them as champs (smfh@vegas). as of now, chicago is the favorites in the east, and washington is right up there, with Toronto creepin on a come up. brooklyn, charlotte, and new york could be sleepers as well.

LOL. No Hornets? One of the best starting lineups in the East.

Hawks and Pistons will be better than Boston too.

The rotation is going to be strange as hell. I know Bron is going to want Mike Miller & Allen on the court, but then the defensive becomes INSANELY bad.

Does Dion or Tristian not play down the stretch for one of them? Gonna be interesting.
