Unfortunately both is true. The main problem with snoop on nl was that the production often wasn't made for snoop and his flow/style. On the other hand the songs he did with his own producers like meech wells while he was on nl were always dope as hell. Thank god master p left snoop the freedom to do what he wanted and to work with whoever he wanted to work with. (Even his first nl album wasn't 100% typical nl, although the majority was, but there were also dope songs like still a g thang which snoop did with his own producers & guests & old homies outside the nl camp. And the other 2 albums were totally classic west coast snoop shit.) His features on other nl artists albums which were produced by bbtb often weren't that great (with some exceptions though).

was bumpin c-murder - cp3.com the other day....pretty whack album. no snoop, thats a good thing.

Silk was capable of a nice track every now and then.... only C Murder joint I ever liked was "Back to Life/Back to Reality"... had a  nice sample but nothing special

c-murder actually had a dope flow, trapped in crime was a nice album....but that cp3.com was straight bullshit, he switched up his flow and came extremely generic on that shit.......silkk was the worst out of all of em.

"Ghetto Millionare" with Snoop, Nate and Kurupt was pretty dope off of CMurder's 2nd album...there is also a nice track with Daz called "Murder and Daz"

Also a dope song was "See Ya When I Get There" by Snoop & C & Mystikal (Although I don't really like Mystikals screaming on this cut)
Nice west coast song, I also heard some people saying that it was 2Pac on the first verse when they didn't know whose song it was because C really sounds like pac on this song.

The group from Oakland that were signed to NL and released some pretty dope albums there ?
Always wished there would have been more collabos between them & snoop, their tracks together were mostly pretty dope....

It might be, but it came out in 98 on a comp. "20 dollars to my name but I'm way up in the game" sounds like No Limit Snoop to me.
