the block og version is dope, a laid back beat with a nice chord progression and some great kicks. the remix isn't terrible either, it's actually a good song, but the chorus is a bit too much IMO

i will never understand how people can like the eminem version of runnin' though, shit was so corny and unauthentic, way too pompous with the violins, the orchestra etc. it's an insult to the one million strong version, which is perfect as it is, a grimey mid 90's east coast song.

Remixes i prefer over the OG :

I'm Gettin' Money : both versions knock but I slightly prefer Mike Mosley's reworking of the beat over the SOS band sample.

First 2 Bomb : Mike Dean and Daz did a hell of a job for the track, the guitar is insane, the beat is dope and Daz came correct with his verses.
