TYSON VICTORIOUS
« on: October 13, 2001, 01:13:15 PM »
Yep I'm bringing the news just 5 mins after watching the fight (got chipped cable so it ain't cost shit) but Tyson won in the 6th round when his danish apponant retired from the match as he couldn't see out of his left eye due to a cut Tyson had given him earlier. Tyson throw some big punches at Neilson but Neilson just laughed it off and was more intimidating Tyson than anything but these punches from Tyson would have KO'd any other profeesional Heavy-Weight boxer but Neilson just took them. One of the coaches on Neilsons side made the decision after Neilson told one of then he couldn't see out of his left eye so Iron Mike stays at position one for the WBC which is to be decided soon when Lennox Lewis and Raaman fight. I hope it ends up being Tyson and Lewis as that would be one hell of a fight and although I'm from the UK I would no doubt be supporting Mike Tyson as I just hate Lennox Lewis and his show boating shit.

After the referee announced that Neilson had retired Mike Tyson was shocked and rather than celevrating was more interested in aksing Neilson why he wouldn't fight, let's fight, let's continue to fight. Why won't you fight. Also Neilson admitted that he would love to fight Mike Tyson again and said that Mike would never knock him out although Mie Tyson put him to the ground in the third.

IRON MIKE IS BACK FOR THE BELT BABY...........YEAH!

I haven't seen the fight yet but I kinda knew the outcome because he was fighting a no-body. It was just target practice for him.

I wanna see him fight the winner of Rahman/Lewis real bad so we can have the two best in the world fight eachother.

Man this guy ain't no nobody. He had only lost one fight out of 63 in his career and the other 62 were wins. The one he lost was when he got knocked out. He was a v.good boxer and even Mike Tysons punches were having little affect on him.....a lot of people may not have heard of him but he certainly wasn't a nobody (as you call it Sikotic) on the nite!

I'm from denmark and i watched the fight live in the stadium. Brian Nielsen put up a good fight and Tyson was really shocked that Brian could take all those punches. Good looking out Brian, u did ur best.

BTW N-Nimy. Brian never got knocked out. He was fighting Dick Ryan when he passed out WITHOUT GETTING HIT, he was dehydrated. He met Dick Ryan later and finished him in the 6. round. Brian Never lost by KO, i actually think he could have done a few more rounds against Tyson, i'm a little dissapointed he gave up. I would rather seen him knocked out in the 7. giving all he had than giving up in the 6.. Fuck it, because of Brian... I'm proud to be danish, This guy only started boxing to loose weight (135 kg) and ended up meeting Tyson and going 6 rounds, and even being cool about it by congratulting Tyson. I gotta give respect for Brian.

BTW. I got both Tysons and Brians Autograph now  ;D.

Peace

Well when I say a "nobody" I mean he never had any major fights or stood out in anyway. He wasn't a nobody to me either because I have heard of him and seen a few of his fights but he has never done anything huge in the sport.

I just peeped the fight on Showtime and Neilsen coulda went on. He saw in his left eye. SOme boxers have their whole eye shut and they continue.

He shoulda worked out more. That muthafucka had a few 'spare tires' if you know what I mean.

I agree. He really should have went another round, he could have been able to get in a lucky punch an win.

Sikotic... Brian Nielsen has done something big in the sport, he's the boxer with the longest winning streak ever

I dunno wether that was an fight early in his career or it could have been his comback fight.

Here do ya'll know Tyson has had just 7 rounds of boxing or summin in the last 5 year before the Neilson fight
