good kid mad city is a decent album and somehow people got so desperate for the west to come back they talked themselves into it being a certified classic.


kendrick is better than lil wayn and rick ross but the fact the bar is so low right now is what's sad.

Don't tell me Quik has beef with Dre or Battlecat. And isn't Battlecat still recovering from stroke? I know a man who had a stroke and it seem like full recovery is nearly impossible.

It's more than just decent, but far from certified classic

GKMC is great rappin, lyrically and musically but elevated to something 'more' by the presentation of the album. 8/10 for me. Still ain't classic status but good enough to remembered by genre fans as a top album of its day
