Snoop said something very real here when he brought about how when hip-hop first came into mainstream America and it was more or less monopolized by New York City, everyone sounded different.  Brooklyn didn't sound like Queens.  Queens didn't sound like The Bronx.  And so on and so forth.  And saying, now, every rapper in the country sounds like they from the South.
