These are the last 5 of mine:

1. MF DOOM - Operation: Doomsday: currently listening to this as I write, it's a very good album and has tons of fun samples, clever lines and cartoonish skits.  The actual quality of the music sounds a bit off (a bit like Wu's first album) and that may be because it is like a demo in a way, but it only adds to the albums greatness.

2. Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientele: still trying to properly get into this album, the production is banging (RZA oversaw the whole album and remixed all the beats submitted to him), but some of the rhymes are a bit impenetrable.  Need to give it a few more listens.

3. Busta Rhymes - The Big Bang: easy listening, lots of heavy beats by Dre, J Dilla, Mr Porter etc and Busta carries it off well.  A couple of tracks sort of bring down the tone of the album a bit, but overall I can listen to it all without skipping a singler track.

4. Viktor Vaughn - Vaudeville Villain - check the thread I made on it, amazing album.

5. DJ Quik + Kurupt - BlaQKout: Nice album, the raps are nothing spectacular, but a lot of Quik's beats are ambitious and different to his other albums, and Kurupt and Quik make a good duo.

Nice list , doesn't seem like there's many other MF Doom fans on here. Always loved the guy's creativity.

New Albums

1.  Gyptian - Love, Sex, and Reggae   -  ...bought this album because I wanted something new to listen to in Africa.  The reggae goes well with the life there and after Jah Cure, Gyptian is at the top of the Reggae world these days.

Old Stuff

2.   2pac and Boot Camp-  One Nation album  -  ...I was excited to finally see some sort of official version of this album.  Nobody really knows what is the actual official version.  I thought "Tatoo Tears" was a great Pac song that I'd never heard before but it didn't end up having much replay value.  The track was pretty sloppy and judging from the quality and effort put into this I can't imagine this was anywhere near finished, and it is nothing close to Pac's standards.  There's an interesting duo track with 2pac and Big Daddy Kane that I never heard before, Kane spits some ill bars on the track but again the beat sounds far from finished.

3.  Phil Collins  -  Greatest Hits   - the 80's and it's music is always an inspiration to me.  Reminds me of my first days walking this Earth.

4.  Warren G -  G Funk Era

5.  The Show - Soundtrack

Logic - Under Preasrure (great album but sounds a little too much like Kendrick's GKMC sometimes)
DJ Quik - The Midnight Life (solid album but perhaps Quik's weakest)
A-Villa - Carry On Traditon (excellent hip-hop compilation from producer A-Villa, features a bunch of artist including Freddie Gibbs, Action Bronson, Nore, Kool G Rap, Joe Budden, AZ, Coremega & much more!)
Big K.R.I.T. - Cadillactia (one of the top albums of the year)
Ransom - Pain & Glory (Ransom has been killing everything lately)

2nd round!  :)

Show (of DITC) - Street Talk (uninspired album with tired beats & rhymes. 2 songs worth checking are OC & AG - Chase Game + Fat Joe & Party Arty - On My Way.)
KRS-One - I Got Next (good album which has never been mentioned here. Step Into A World, Heartbeat, Blowe, Friend, etc. Strange how KRS is a real hip-hop supporter & is putting the MC in the forefront, but than he puts a remix of Step into a World on the album with Puff Daddy.  ??? Nonetheless it's a dope song.
NAS - Street's Disciple (Double discs, when will rappers learn? 1 disc with the best songs would make this a very dope album. But now there is some filler here & there)
J-Zone - $ick of Beein' Rich (rapper / producer. His raps are funny & entertaining, but I didn't & still don't like the direction he went with his productions style. Sure, it's really original & creative, but not my thang. Good / hilarious songs to check out: 5-$tar Hooptie & F**** you, pay me.)
Ill Al Skratch - Keep it movin' (An ok album, nothing really special. Although released in '97, it really sounds like a '95 album, so already a bit outdated by the time it got released)

Next!
