Is this the best Quik & Snoop collaboration ever?
« on: November 21, 2014, 03:21:48 PM »

Listening to the album NLTP today after years.

And  I just clocked that, Snoop was addressing his cousin Joe Cool in the first verse of the  song.

Back when Joe Cool started messing with cocaine.

The production was on point & clean and some real content.

snoop and quik collabs are all classic, but i think i prefer 'don't tell' & possibly 'press play' over this one.

i mean how smooth is this? 8)

or on the funkier side, quik was confirmed to have worked this one too. love the metallic sounding drums and talkbox effect...

'Don't tell' is pretty nice too but I prefer 'doing too much' now because of the real life issue he addressed on it.

Meech Wells delivered some good productions on NLTP too

Never realized Doin Too Much was a Quik track…used to bump this track back in the day when I was hella young.

But yeah, DONT TELL is definitely the best Quik/Snoop collab. Dope hearing Mausberg in the mix with legends.

Joe Cool was smokin' crack back in the days, he's been sober for 11 years now though. "Doin' Too Much" was recorded way before it got released in '99.

Snoop & Quik together is always dope, so i like all of the tracks they did together, they are all pretty dope.
But my favorite track from these 2 has to be either "Don't Tell" or "Live From L.A."  8)
"Press Play" was also sick  8)

"Ride On" was produced by Snoop and Marc N' The Dark and Quik co-produced it. Classic song.

yeah but lenient use of 'co-producer' if you read what he did on there. understandably it sounds much more like a quik record.
