gathering no dirt, never to be bound in a mould/
Putting trust in Allah while the futures untold/
Ready am I to go, eager with sails full, awaiting the wind/
beggining alone and without a nest, make dua to Allah
to stay blessed, an eagle flying across the sun/
just to connect back to the source of one/
West to East from this deliberation I can see
the egg in it's nest, good fortune is the
bird that comes forth blessed/
tell me why the caged bird sings
cause it has hope of one day flying free
Traveling the Earth I scattered fragments
around of myself, and dumped an ill conscience upon them
common are the nightmares of Byzantines collapse
as I lay on my back underneathe the stars, Allahu Akbar
man's traveled far on foot and horse--back to where we are/
A time traveling refugee at the sunset of the Byzantine centuries/

Chorus:

صبن لذ سكر لن هذ و م كن له مقرنىن و انا ال ربنا لمن قلبن

VERSE 2:

When I was awaiting my way out,
I was in doubt of the possessions on my back,
what was with me, what was left behind
what the thief would see and covet,
if I could produce the budget
or be reduced to a begger,
busking from the palm eating from it
Living hand to mouth,
but when doubts are high,
the time for trusting has arrived,
it was out of my control and power
as the hour drew nigh
I beheld his ship coming in the mist,
and the gates of my heart flung open
at the sight of it, what a sight to behold
I closed my eyes and prayed in the silences of thy soul!
Half a life spent, but never as I imagined it
I never fathomed they would have men killing themselves/
the carnival of destraction that never really helps
clothin ourselves in blood shed like an envelop/
well I'm sending myself as far away from this hell
as humanly possible, the obstacle is the illusion/
If I can contemplate and conquer it then I've one the war/
now I'm off to battle as my ship leaves the shore..

Chorus:

صبن لذ سكر لن هذ و م كن له مقرنىن و انا ال ربنا لمن قلبن
