I Am was extraordinarily bootlegged, he had to go back and do 75% of the album. A few of those cuts ended up on lost tapes etc.

"Nas Is Like" and the Scarface joint were both nice, but a few nice tracks don't make an album.  I'm not the only one who considers I Am and Nastradaumus to be the low point of Nas career, even Nas would agree.

Exactly.. which is why I made this thread... it seems the songs the bootlegs from the I Am and Nastraudamus era were better than the albums.

nah I Am would be the OK album, HHID would have been classic if "Who Killed It" got scratched off

nas is boring what do you expect same as most ny rappers

Why? Because he actually has subject matter and doesn't just rely on beats, guests, and trends?

Nas is the greatest rapper EVER and "Life is Good" solidified that.

Agreed

Thank you for that... I always took HHID as one of the most important and timely albums ever in hiphop.  For me, it truly did mark the death of hiphop...  there was that resurgence with 2001 which lasted all the way through the GUnit phase, and then things died out after that (generally and literary speaking ofcourse, not to be taken litterally)

Lol one of the more unlistenable hip hop tracks out there.
