What do u consider old school now

i remember i was talkin to some1 about albums an i mentioned the chronic an the guy went damn thats mad old school.  i never really considered the chronic to be considered old school tho.  when i think old school i think paid in full an the great adventures of slick rick.  so what would u guys consider old school

I consider everything pre-1987 old school.

1987 - 1990 is golden age to me.  

I don't know what to call anything after that.
