im a bit wary cos its an english translation and im like, ya gotta know arabic to really get the true meaning of it.
but there's heaps of notes that go with it.
im spinnin out.
it's beautiful.
love the language.
i recognised myself in the second surah as someone that goes round causin mischief and im like, i gotta put a stop to that cos i dont wanna be goin to hell for some juvenile bs.

My latest purchases/reads are:

"Haile Selassie : The Conquering Lion" by Leonard Oswald Mosley.
"Complete Guide to Building Log Homes" by Monte Burch.
"The Sanctuary of Self" by Ralph M.Lewis.
"A-B-C Et Cetera, The Life & Times of the Roman Alphabet" by Alexander & Nicholas Humez.
"The Americanization of Edward Bok, an Autobiography"
"Cannery Row" by John Steinbeck.
"The Death of King Arthur" by "Walter Map (Unknown Author)".
"The Philosophy of Space and Time" by Hans Reichenbach.

Pretty random selection but all good to very good books.

They say the Abdullah Yusuf Ali translation of The Qur'an is the best English one, that is the one I have but I have yet to read all of it...

Also just finished reading "The China Study" <<< This book is incredible for those who want to build their health, defeat diabetes, cancer etc.

Hopefully Heinz can build us a log home sanctuary to sit in for reading

I'm nearly finished 12 years a slave... Didn't really like the movie, it seemed kinda artsy and I found some of the scenes a bit hard to stomach... The book is even more intense in some of the graphic nature though, and its written in the vernacular of the times which makes me stumble on some of the expressions but I find it a very convincing accounted of a topic I have been educating myself about since I was 11....

Never reading another book, unless by force, till I finish the English standard Holy Bible n the Holy Qur'an....

Got em both from the library...
Bought them when I said I damaged them, which was my way of saying I desicrated them with my flesh...
Paid full price, cost me near $70....

Haven't got past Numbers in the Old Testament....
Moses had a lot of responsibility....
Could you imagine being found abandoned n then have the blessing of being Gods intercessor bestowed upon you... That's some serious back n forth, don't shoot the messenger stuff....

And apparently a few Jews found a land of milk n honey but didn't think they could win the battle so they went back to camp n lied n said they found giants....
Fourty years for fourty nights for forethought that turned out to be backward thinking....

Hey, I can relate...
If I had of stayed in school n had faith n not lied to my parents n been mischievous my whole adolescence I could of ended up in milk n honey too instead of this backward hillbillies ville joint I've ended up in....
