Calling this a masterpiece is crazy to me..im just glad im not the only one here who see it as overrated

Man, I can't just be sitting back say hip-hop after Sept. 13, 1996 is dead. Life goes on. That shit Nas did at the end of Stillmatic, that shit had me on some pure hip-hop shit. Immortal Technique, that's some hip-hop shit. Talib Kweli, all of that shit. Hip-Hop evolves and moves on. After Kendrick's new album, I look forward to what's next for that young man. I think he's only scratched the surface.

TPAB was good , I like it better than GKMC . But I think KENDRICK can do better than this.

Yeah there was a resurgence after Em came out in early 99 and it lasted up through the Get Rich or Die Trying album
