it's way more disco sounding that Pharrell's album, his best production in years, probably since The Neptunes were killing it back in the early 2000s.

the worst tracks funny enough are the ones featuring other rappers - Edibles & I'm Ya Dogg. the rest is a straight jam, brilliant album 8)

but i can't see a lot of the rap fans here liking it - it's not gfunk or gangsta and there's more singing than rapping. like i said before, Pharrell's throwback production is the star here. it's more disco smooth grooves than anything. Peaches N Cream is prolly the closest to being straight 'funky'.

^^my thoughts exactly, I don't feel like snoop's charisma and personality really come through, but lately it's like snoop has been going in different directions with dam funk and snoop lion, this has great replay value and it makes sense for him I been bumping his radio station on the dash app and it fits in with where he is at right now ...

R.I.P. Snoop Dogg - I Knew that, i knew that, i knew that. smfdh.

7 days of funk was 100 times better, too bad snoop used the gimmick name zilla and hardly promoted it right.

I was really waiting for that one and it doesnt disapoint at all, straight funky and frech.
I like that Snoop singing and I dont consider this an official snoop comeback as well, he continues to deliver his experimental projects and Im ok with it  8)
Worst song is the TI assisted one but on the other side the TI feature on Tech album is dopeeeeee

Very well produced comes through the speakers and headphones nice, it doesn't feel like a snoop album, and it is more like 7 Days of
funk project with less rapping. It doesn't feel as forced as the Lion but doesn't really satisfy that Snoop album feel either.
