I didn't read all the comments about this album.

After first listen, these are my thoughts.

It's jamming, production level is 9/10.
Bumps in my car like a mutha.
Pharrel delivered.

Now talking about Snoop, I have no idea what was going through his head during this project.
He should have rapped all over these groovy beats!

The facts is, Snoop can still rap, way better than most of the rappers out there at the moment, why he doesn't do it anymore, is beyond me.

A few decent verses would've made this project, a personal classic for ME.

He chose the lazy route, to sing some simple lines over dope beats.

Snoop Dogg made his name for being a sharp MC!
Not a lyricist but a 'Sharp MC', that's his strongest point.

He flows effortlessly on the mic, that would've been perfect for this project and make it a good 'Snoop Dogg' project.

As it is, it is a very good Pharrel project with a lazy, can't be bothered Snoop.

I have been looking forward to this project, since I heard Snoop & Pharrel are in the lab together, they have good chemistry.

Pharrel delivered 100% but Snoop let this project down.

And this is coming from a big Snoop fan.

My tracks from this project

This City

Awake

Peaches N Cream

California Roll (A good verse would've made this song an Amazing one).

Arsenal 4 Life!!!!!!!!!!

California Roll, This City, Awake, Peaches n Cream are great.   The album is a bit disappointing overall, though.

I Was expecting more effort from Snoop.  I'm surprised Skate P didn't bring more out of Snoop here.  That flow on tracks like Beautiful, Vato and DILIH is unbeatable.  I needed to hear some of that on this album to satisfy me.

i agree 100% ! he has stevie wonder ,Pharell and Chralie singin, why the hell he has to sing too ???
Some songs could be dope if he would rap on it! California Roll is dope..but snoop ruined it with his wack singin!....
this album could be released without snoops vocals ..would be the same !
not even 1 dope verse from snoop on this album, and people talk about like its the masterpiece...cuz they only see the instrumetal part - BUT THATS PHARELL, NOT SNOOP!
if he would rap, even with this comercial beat, i would somehow liked it,even tho i still cant believe there are no hip hop beats
but with funk beats, and him singin.how the fuck can i like the album '?
classic album means = dope music AND DOPE LYRICS AND VOCALS ! this one has wack vocals, and a few nice produced tracks which makes it 4/10

next time he better RAP HIS ASS OFF !!!!1

whats ur point? hes sayin that an album full of snoop doin autotune signin aint the business...and he's right. like everyone sayin, the production carried the album. snoop surely coulda did more. doesn't have to be doggystyle, but he's a rapper, not a singer.

there was nothing wrong with the singing, it's what the production called for... had he rapped he would have more than likely had a few just OK verses then the rest would have been some ABC/123 lyricism which would have in fact ruined the production

if he's going to 'rap' then get the hip-hop/g-funk production, this is smoothed out grown man music
