I think on the real there was never a Wu-tang solo album I really loved.   They all had dope cuts, sometimes monster cuts like Meth's gems "Bring the Pain", "Judgement Day", "All I Need", and Rza's killa cut "Holocaust".  Those tracks are all larger than life Mega-bangers and were hit songs.   But I remember a lot of filler on the Wu-tang solo's, but maybe I'm wrong.

GZA  liquid swords

damn Hack.. you were right.   This Liquid Swords album is the only Wu solo album I've found with no filler!   This shit is top notch, the name "Genius" fits perfect.   Rza is razor sharp with the beats and holdin Gza's back, and Gza is really in a zone on this one.  It's hard.. it's intelligent.. it's raw... it's street.... it's poetic... it's thoughtful... it's introspective... this is everything you could want in a solo joint.

listen to Fat Joe's "Jealous Ones Envy" album from 1995

it even has a classic early Big Pun guest appearance on it

To Me Liquid Swordz by far. Rae's was great in it's own right but I put GZA a notch above.

yeah man the fact GZA didn't need another Wu member to rap on every song was huge...plus the fact GZA was just tighter than the rest of Wu helped.  Beats were also slightly tighter.
