here is your next mission, are you ready to accept it?

listen to Fat Joe's "Jealous Ones Envy" album from 1995

it even has a classic early Big Pun guest appearance on it

Sorry, can't bring myself to fulfill that mission.  Never been impressed with Fat Joe's skills, and I have heard some of his older cuts on XM backspin

i agree with Petey here...it's not going to kill you to listen to an album Brian.  trust me, Fat Joe used to be dope in the 90s.

To Me Liquid Swordz by far. Rae's was great in it's own right but I put GZA a notch above.

yeah man the fact GZA didn't need another Wu member to rap on every song was huge...plus the fact GZA was just tighter than the rest of Wu helped.  Beats were also slightly tighter.

What's funny is GZA was never even one of my favorites on WU's group shit, that album is just something else.

same here i would consider gza a second tier wu member lol

the cohesiveness of that album was great from sequencing to mixing.

i think rza was smoking some good weed when he worked on this.

toss up between liquid swords and OBFCL...for nostalgia's sake i usually go with OBFCL due to it reminding me of the summer of 95, where as liquid swords was released later in the year closer to winter, which was a less memorable time....if any of that shit makes sense

Yeah... The album mixes very well with weed.   I actually think that's why I didn't get into the album back in the day when I first peeped it, because I never used to smoke weed back in the day.

lol that's kinda lame though. Just think about saying to the artist: "Nah bro your album isn't a classic because you released it in November instead of June."  ;D

its like my memories of liquid swords were cutting class riding the transit all over town to fuck shit up and my memories of cuban linx was creeping around and getting at hoes for the first time etc. it dont change the quality of the album but the memories i affiliate with that album are epic.
