LEBRON AND KOBE ARE NOWHERE NEAR THE SAME STRATOSPHERE WHEN IT COMES TO SELLING CONTACT...LEBRON IS MUCH BIGGER THAN KOBE, BUT YOU WOULD THINK IT'S THE OTHER WAY AROUND BASED ON HOW BOTH REACT TO CONTACT. LEBRON IS IN THE JAMES HARDEN ECHELON OF FLOPPING.

Kobe has that old school mentality that didn't sell the foul. What's funny is that Derek Fisher was drafted the same year as Kobe, and Fisher was great at drawing fouls and selling them. But Kobe himself just didn't. Kobe was old school, maybe that's just part of going straight to the NBA and watching old NBA tapes, where as Fisher went to 4 years of college and in the early-90's colleges were teaching to draw fouls more. And these players who go through AAU basketball now all seem to be taught to draw fouls and flop.

Sometimes you talk like you're living in a world of your own. Kobe screams like a bitch whenever he misses a layup and contact was there.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

Key note, contact was there. But he doesn't flop. He just points it out to the ref to make sure they see the foul. He doesn't flop to the floor like a fish outta water.

AAU basketball has ruined physical play.

So a flop is not a flop?

A flop is an action, not a sound.

LMAO. The first two plays in that video are of him getting hit straight in the face. Yeah, maybe selling that he did, but no different than Kobe touching jerseys with a defender on a jumper & flailing.
