At least on wax, I thought the beef started when Kurupt called out ATL and Kokane on the "Puffin' On Blunts and Drinkin' Tanqueray" freestyle, which was a B-Side to the "Dre Day" single.

I always thought that was aimed at snoop, but now I just listened to it and it wasn't aimed at him at all.  Like seer said it is aimed at kurupt.  hutch even says peace to snoop, and they pretty much just say not to get screwed over.
