I can agree with there being only a few real highlights but overall it's just a solid album, when I bump it at the gym I usually let it ride until track 8 and then I start skipping around

I won't rank it amongst the rest of the catalog yet until Disc 2 drops but so far it's right underneath Doctor's Advocate and The Documentary

Locking the other thread, to let this be the official thread, now that most people have/had a chance to hear it.. here's my thoughts (copied from the other thread):

Quick thoughts after first listen:

* The beats are better than expected, but isn't quite up there with OG Documentary.
* Game sounds way hungrier than usual.
* As expected, a lot of filler. Maybe some of it will grow on me though, we'll see.
* How Game gonna have a Dr.Dre/Ice Cube track, and have will.i.am produce it.. disappointing considering the line-up.
* Some dope features, and some redundant ones. No surprise there.

Contains sample of the recording "Rickard Escapes" as performed by Jerry Goldsmith.

* Now we're talking! Am I wrong for thinking that this track should have replaced Game's track on Compton? Would have loved to hear Dre on this, and Cube or Kendrick.
