Fresh off the Lyricist Lounge TourBig Daddy Kane and Das Efx, Killah Priest is securing some dates of his own. The Wu-Tang emcee will be heading out this summer to promote his upcoming release, Black August set to drop on April 22 via Artemis/Recon Records.

"I know Black August's going to inspire rappers to step up their game," Priest said in a statement. "I think it's time for real artists to come out and put their heart back into it. I've been put in the dark so long this is my time to come out and brighten up the rap game. Black August is a phenomenon, it's not a gimmick. It's my heart spilled out on paper."
