Ahh.......my 1992 Audi 100 Quattro. Drove that bitch from '03 til '08 when the transmission exploded.

Every other car I've driven hasn't felt right since that car.

I wanted to buy an old one for myself. But I was told the parts were really expensive if anything happened, so I pussied out lol.

Smart move. Everything on that car was way too expensive. That's why when the transmission died, I just gave up on it.

I had an Audi A5 at one point (58 reg) 2008, and couldn't fault it. Nice, and would love to go back, unfortunately, I had to sell it to buy 2 cars around the £5000 mark since we needed the 2 cars

Mercedes and BMW is slacking off, and others are catchin up..

Can't believe I wrote this 10 years ago..  

I've drove several BMWs, Audis, Benzes, and others, and there's no contest.
BMW is easily the best car, the überprecise handling, driver-oriented interior and overall quality- and driving feel, makes it the car to beat..
BMW is for people who likes to drive, Audi/Merc is for people who wants to get from A to B, rookie drivers or senior citizens.

Audi is basically a VW with better looking interior/exterior.. otherwise it's mostly the same VAG-stuff.
I'd take one of the new Volvos instead of Audi these days, can't beat Volvo seats.

The new 2012 BMW 3-series will be my next car mid-2013..
