Man, too many new people all at once.  He needs to introduce 2 or 3 new cats and really concentrate on them and promote them, get them hot, then branch off of them with a few more new acts, etc.  I see at least 15 different artists on here....way too many to introduce and showcase all at once.  I bet the majority of them are going to get lost in the shuffle.

Well, yeah, but that's probably the business strategy.  You throw them all out there at once and let the free market decide which two or three of the 15 rise to the top.  The other 12 will fall by the wayside.  This way Snoop doesn't have to spend time on developing artists who might never catch a buzz.  Instead, he can just embrace the two or three standouts and hit the ground running with them.

I'm not saying this is right or wrong, but just that I think this is the strategy in today's game.  Nobody has money for artist R&D anymore.
"Detox" is a myth -- Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, Area 51, Iraq having WMD, Detox...you get it now?  It was invented by the Aftermath marketing department to maintain the fans' attention.  Notice how everytime a new Aftermath album is ready to come out, they always mention Detox is next up?  Because they are using the invention of "Detox" as a way to market other albums.  The sooner you realize that Detox is NOT REAL, the sooner you'll feel liberated.  Oh yeah, f.u. Aftermath for fooling us fans.
