Yo, as some of you know I'm a huge fan of Aesop Rock and the first little section is taken from his song "1 for 4" because I think it applies to me too. I'm not claiming that I wrote that part so nobody accuse me of biting or anything.

No.
I like to write songs though.
Are they good?
I don't know.
But I do know that I only say shit when I believe it.
So say what you want about me, but I know I mean this.

It's like I'm searching for a buck in nickle-plated pockets ~
Or looking to find love just to sedate my conscience ~
Created a rocket so that I can attempt to touch the sky ~
But everytime I try something knocks me back bloodied on my side ~
And I cry, that's right, even if my tears run up my internal ~
And spill out of my mouth onto my public journal ~
My thoughts, grasping onto and reaching out to the world ~
All at the same time, positive preaching in words turned to murals ~
But it's hard for me to feel that way inside when my girl's left ~
The only reason she stayed with me so long was for the sex ~
Fallen off because I've spent so much time away from what I love to do ~
And that's write rhymes even if the only peeps reading them are you ~
Folks who let me vent and lement on the internet ~
And talk about regret and what is meant by letters sent ~
To my e-mail address telling me that she's with my best friend now ~
And now I feel betrayed, strung out and hung out on a bough ~
Of this tree we call life, full of strife but I'm gonna start and branch it out ~
Peep new scenes and work all the answers out ~
