I was initially going to contribute but I don't see the point of releasing songs in degraded quality, if they gave us the same digital source they ripped then I'll be more inclined. We should be creating a resource of all the best quality files and collating them as one collective.

I'm surprised you are uninformed on this. They're released in "degraded quality" because that's how the source received them, and they didn't have a choice. Would be great if we could get this stuff lossless but that was never an option. The only place these songs exist in better quality is in the vault.

Fair enough I trust you C Man. However this happened in the past when I received songs from some people and they gave me this degraded  top Dogg song which later came out from them in CDQ. So when people on the scene accused them of degrading the 2pac songs you can understand it's easy to be suspicious.

There is a point though...I'd rather have them in a lower quality than nothing at all.  Not every unreleased song has to be perfect flawless FLAC quality for me to want to listen to it.  When The Chronic first came out and the jump was made from cassette to CD, we all thought it sounded amazing and was the best quality possible.  Now it sounds pretty rough.  You don't think as technology advances, these files you're getting in FLAC now won't sound like shit in 20-30 years??  Just enjoy the music.  I wish people would stop worrying so much about quality.

It's not about flawless but I would personally give people the exact same files I own as I don't like re-encoded files. Archiving is actually going down hill nowadays which is ironic because we have the technology. Anyway I'll digress and pitch in something as like you said 'something is better than nothing' (this is how they get us by the way. They know that we have no choice so without boycott they'll just keep it to themselves and the scene will die once again. It's a vicious cycle).

I don't get all caught up and worried about that kind of stuff, never have.  Never into the "scene" or who is behind it or what goes on, etc.....as long as I get songs I can bump in my car or listen to while I work out, I'm fine.  Even degraded songs sound fine to me, 128 all day.  Cassette rips or radio rips are usually where I draw the line as far as listenability goes. People are spoiled these days...I used to listen to the worst quality Pac leaks on repeat back in 97/98 and thought it was awesome I was even listening to songs only a handful of people had ever heard.  Used to order the cassettes from G.Litt and thought they were gold.  Now unless the leaks are FLAC, people get upset.

I understand, but I can assure you that for this material it's not going to get any better unless the artists/producers themselves have their own copies they put out there.

I have the cassette single of this song.  Kinda cool for something neat to have.  Replay value is pretty low, not big into foreign rap, but it's a pretty rare song.  Always wondered how JFlexx got hooked up with this guy for a song.

Sean Barney Thomas made some good bangers on Death Row from 94-97... Going to contribute to this project... That Danny Boy track def sounded like a Dre Beat... Lady Heroin OG sounds interesting... Looking forward to hearing more of these unreleased Death Row Gems from 93-97

The Danny Boy track wasn't on the sampler, but I'm looking forward to hearing it.

Barney Rubble & J.Flexx did many tracks together. Look at most of J.Flexx's songs on DR, prod. by Barney Rubble, so they were boys, friends, mates in the industry.

Heres the 6min Extended version of the song free to download - http://redmp3.su/570133/hiroshima-unspoken-love.html

He was asking how J-Flexx got hooked up with the Hiroshima, not how he got hooked up with Barney Rubble. Also that link you posted is to the 6 minute album version, which is not the same as the extended club mix from the CD single. The album version doesn't feature J-Flexx and isn't produced by Barney Rubble.

Because websites existed in 1996.
