I forgot to buy this album when it came out, but this thread reminded me to buy it, and I'm glad I did.

It's not a masterpiece, but it's a cool little piece of Tupac memorabilia. Nutt-so is a good rapper and I really like the songs he did over Pac beats, especially Friends (over the beat for Never Had a Friend Like Me) and As Soon As I Get Home.

If you think about it, Nutt-so is the person who lost the most when Pac died. His whole career would have taken off if Makaveli Records launched.

Did you actually listen to the album?

I don't think you really understand Nutt-so if you believe he's trying to profit off of Pac. Nutt-so is a hood nigga. He barely promotes his work. I doubt he made more like a few hundred dollars off this project. Nutt-so does all this shit for the love of Pac, homie, not to make a profit.

I feel its only for the Love and respect for Pac what Nutts-so is doing... Pac would rather the people he new cared about him make a lil money using his name than the people who controls is entire estate..That's the crazy thing, is no one in Pac's family owns his estate, they are about to really exploit Pac and continue to make money off of him and no one from his family will receive any of it unless they sell out...To me its all a marketing strategy... That's why the movie is taking so long to come out, he just got inducted to the Rock N Roll Hall of fame, so its a timing thing... They hate Pac to this day, but they know how much people Love Pac to this day and they are gonna capitalize off of it for as long as they can... BS!!! That's what I hate...

Here's a PR trick Canibus old manager Louis Lombard taught me back in the day: It's always a good idea to have a streaming link to at least one song on the album, some artwork and possibly an interview or article that speaks more about the artist/album when you promote. You have a better chance that way of gaining more fans and/or sells.
