Bone Thugs - New Waves (Discussion Thread)
« on: May 29, 2017, 04:37:52 PM »

Back in March, it has been announced that the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony group lineage is in the hands of Bizzy Bone and Krayzie Bone. The two are now set to release new music as Bone Thugs, with summer 2017’s New Waves becoming the first isolated project between the two 25-year collaborators.
New Waves is set to hit stores everywhere June 23rd. It will be a different perspective of the same Bone Thugs sound we fell in love with in late 90s. In the meantime, the tracklist for the project surfaced on the web.

The fifteen track project will feature Stephen Marley, Yelawolf, Jazze Pha, Bun B, Tank, Uncle Murda, Rico Love and more. Peep the full tracklisting below.

1. Coming Home (Ft. Stephen Marley)

3. Good Person (Ft. Joelle James)
4. Fantasy (Ft. Jesse Rankins)

Not bad....these guys are always trying to find the next "Crossroads".

Wish they'd just stay true to their roots, seems like ever since Crossroads blew up, the been trying to make clones of the song in attempts to have another big hit (If I Could Teach The World, Change The World, etc, etc).

A few songs like this on the album is fine, but hopefully they come with that hardcore Thuggish Bone sound too.

bone biggest issue was always their production and choices of beats i feel they went downhill on the art of war then came back good on BTNHResurrection then went back after BTNHResurrection and never recovered hopefully this one is good

I skimmed the album last night, a few songs sounded amazing and few were sounding kinda cringeworthy from what I heard but I won't rate the album until I play it completely lol

That's why this group is called Bone Thugs and not Bone Thugs-N-Hamony, they explained it on a couple interviews
