40 GLOCC SHOT AT FUNERAL

SAN BERNARDINO >> Police are investigating a reported shooting Thursday at the Mt. View Cemetery.

St. Bernardine Medical Center personnel reported the shooting around 2:20 p.m., spokeswoman Eileen Hards said. Officials said a man was shot in the arm and the chest. His condition wasn’t available.

A woman suffered injuries consistent with being run down by a car, Hards said. Her condition was not immediately available.

Police shut down the cemetery at 570 E. Highland Ave. to collect evidence.

Several bullet casings could be seen under makeshift markers in the mortuary driveway.

Police didn’t release the motive behind the shooting.

Hards said officers at the scene detained several subjects.
