Ab Soul, Nipsey, Dom Kennedy, Jay Rock, K. Dot & Jay Rock most definitely ain't "trap" artists. Some of them may have a few trapish sounding songs here and there though. and Ya Boy and Dom Kennedy ain't "new school", the former has been around since the early 00's, the latter since the mid 00's and they're 30+. same for Nipsey, Ab Soul and pretty much everyone.
