haven't heard anything new since he was diagnosed with that auto immune disease a couple of years ago

I follow him on FB and IG he seems to be doing well and looking healthy. He's touring with the group and seems to be the only one that doesn't miss shows. Plus he dropped like 2 solo albums, 2 albums with EDI and one with Bizzy Bone so 5 albums in the last six or less months. I'm not sure if anyone is putting in more work than him right now.
